Lisbon

Sadly, Lisbon has always played second fiddle to Vilamoura which is quite unfair as it home to some stunning golf courses.

Most people would stay in the beautiful fishing village of Cascais (about 40 minutes’ drive from Lisbon airport). Cascais knows how to look after people with its lively restaurants and bars.

Within a short drive is Sintra well worth a visit. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site it is very popular with tourists. Golf courses include the magnificent Pena Longa, Oitarvos Dunes and Estoril among others. Estoril over looks the old Formula One racetrack when Portugal held a Gran Prix. So for ‘Petrol Head’ golfers you can watch motor racing practice whilst playing a round!!! Heaven almost certainly. A hotel work staying at in Cascais is the Pestana Cidadela, it is simply amazing.
