Navatanee Golf Course is an exclusive course. It was built in 1973 specifically to host the 23rd World Cup of Golf in 1975. The majestic layout was the result of the vision of its Founder, Sukum Navapan, being skillfully brought to life by world-renowned Architect, Robert Trent Jones Jr. s’ philosophy, which was to create a course that was tough for the professional golfers yet provided an enjoyable challenge for golfers of more modest talent. He transformed paddy fields into a 6,902-yard championship course of truly international standards, and his first masterpiece in Asia.

Playing to 7,107 yards from the blue tees, the par 72 layout features deep blue lakes, narrow fairways, deep rough, big bunkers and huge greens. The member’s only course is one of most stylish of all the golf courses in the greater Bangkok area. The course has a mixture of American, Scottish and Thai features. Although relatively flat, each hole has been individually sculpted and presents its own array of challenges, usually clearly visible from the tee. The par-five holes are testing and three of the four par-three holes require the tee shot to be hit directly over water to reach the green. Sian Golf & Country Club
A Piece of Thailand’s Golfing History For foreign golfers holidaying in Pattaya, a game at the historic Siam Country Club is an absolute must do. The Club is home to Three wonderful golf courses.
The golf course and clubhouse underwent a complete renovation in 2006, and opened in March 2007. A sister golf course is also simultaneously built nearby with its own clubhouse, called Siam Country Club Pattaya Plantation. Lee Schmidt of Schmidt & Curley Design Inc. took on the redesign the Old Course but kept the original routing of I. Izumi and many of the old characters. Bunkers are added for a modern esthetic look, feel and landscape. Seashore Paspalum is chosen for fairway grass, and Novotek for greens. Despite a new look, the Old Course remains a classic traditional tree line with many fond memories of the past. Classic, beauty, and challenge are what the Old Course is known for today in Thailand.
Just like the golf course, the clubhouse also had a 100% complete refurbishment. Utilizing the old structure, modern comforts are added while maintaining a soft executive touch and feel. The restaurant, overlooking the 18th hole (only 50 yd), enjoys spectacular view of the golf course, can host up to 180 guests, and is the best place to be at the end of the round. The guests will find the showers and locker rooms’ facilities to be as comfortable as their homes. Throughout the golf course, there are many kiosks and toilet stops that will assure the guests’ comfort. Shortly after the Old Course was opened in March 2007, it hosted a world class tournament, Honda LPGA Thailand 2007 in October. In February 2009, the tournament moved to Siam Country Club Pattaya Plantation. Since 2010, the Old Course has become home of the LPGA tournaments in February. Events such as the LPGA are testimony to the quality of the golf course, clubhouse, and services.
The Plantation Course was simultaneously built at the same time during the renovation of Siam Country Club Pattaya Old Course, and opened in April 2008. Designed by Lee Schmidt of Schmidt & Curley, the Plantation is a 27-hole golf course and meant to have a clear distinction from the Old Course. Fairways, bunkers and greens are uniquely different from any other golf courses in Thailand. The routing sits high on rolling hills of the natural terrain meandering
mountains and natural creeks with a panoramic view of Pattaya. Strong wind is one of the natural character and part of the challenge but the breeze makes the hottest day more pleasurable. The “PLANTATION” name was given in the honor of the historic Sugar Cane, Tapioca, and Pineapple plantations, and each nine-hole is named accordingly.
One year after the Plantation open, it hosted the Honda LPGA Thailand 2009 in February, a testimony to quality and service of the golf course. From 2009 onward, the Plantation has been awarded the “Best Maintained Golf Course in Asia Pacific.
The Waterside will feature Waterfront and Friendly golf course concepts, 18-hole, par 72, 7454 yards covering the area of 525 rai (200 acres) but will hold the same championship qualities of the successes of the Old Course (18-hole) and Plantation (27-hole) on the property next door, which are already renowned golf courses among the best in Asia Pacific.
The course will be designed by IMG Golf Course Design, one of the world renowned golf course architect and expert in world sport and event managements, and will regenerate and enhance the property worthy of future domestic and international investment. Strict environment cares, esthetic beauty, challenge and friendly play are the emphasis of the Waterside design with the absolute distinct differences from the famous Old Course and Plantation.
Golfers will experience creation of design in harmony with nature. With many water-feature holes, Signature Hole will be a memorable one. Course design will be strategic with locations of lakes and creeks in play. The back tee will challenge the best. At the same time, the regular tee will offer enjoyment for all golfers. Let’s not forget the charm, well manner, and knowledgeable caddies of Siam Country Club who will make your day memorable. Much emphasis have been given to challenge golfers and, most important, happiness at the end of the day. Highlight of the Waterside will also include the clubhouse with 180 degree view of the beauty of the course, lakes, creeks and landscape blending with natural surroundings.

The golf course looks as natural as possible and maintains many of the original features of the site. The most important of these are the natural creeks that run throughout the course and the rocks that have been used as design features on many of the holes. Inland through small farms & pineapple plantations Lake View is another example of the quality of Golf Courses in and around Hua Hin. The course is located 20 km from Hua Hin along a chain of hills in a natural environment. There are 27 holes. Majestic Creek is a perfect blend of an ambitious course with the environment. Almost all fairways have got water hazards (small lakes or creeks) as well as several bunkers. For a good score, precise shots and good nerves are required. The large clubhouse is comfortable and has a good Thai restaurant.
This course is constructed on the lower slopes of a mountain. Many of the fairways are very narrow, requiring great accuracy by even the best golfers amongst us. From several locations on the course, the scenery and views of the Gulf of Thailand are spectacular.
