PanoramicaCosta Daurada golf courses - Panoramica Golf ClubPanoramica Golf Club

When Panoramica Golf & Country Club opened in 1995 it quickly got the nick-name “Little Valderrama” because of its high level of maintenance and visual resemblance to the famous course in the south of Spain. This was perhaps not the primary objective when Bernhard Langer designed the course, but his layout has over the years proven to be a very good test of golf. Set among old olive trees this beautiful course sweeps back and forth in gently rolling terrain, giving the player a great variety. The Ladies European Tour has played several tournaments here and it is often used by the Spanish Golf Federation for national competitions. In addition to a really good golf course, Panoramica offers what is possibly the best practice facilities in all of Europe. Here you will find a double-sided driving range measuring 300 x 120 m, several putting greens, pitching greens, chipping greens and practice bunkers. There is also a par-3 course with 3 holes measuring from 88-190 meters in length. With very large greens and 3 flags on each green this is a great short game area. Panoramica is in the far south of the Costa Daurada region approximately 1.5-2 hrs from Barcelona.

Quality Golf Destinations | GolfCosta Daurada golf courses - La Graiera Golf ClubLa Graiera Golf Club

As you drive south from Barcelona this is the first of the golf courses you will come across in Costa Daurada. La Graiera opened in 1992 as a 9-hole course and was in 2006 extended to a full 18-hole course. It is set in quite undulating terrain with great views over the Catalan countryside. It is also one of the longest courses in Spain measuring 6226 meters from the yellow tees. The course offers some spectacular golf holes including the unforgettable 18th which is a par-5 with a sharp dogleg tempting you to hit over a ravine. This course has recently opened a new clubhouse providing all the services a visiting golfer may require. A great course for the experienced golfer to play, its length and hill side location makes this one of the most difficult of the Costa Daurada golf courses. However its a good driving course and one a shot-maker will apreciate.

Quality Golf Destinations | SpainCosta Daurada golf courses - D'Aigüesverds Golf ClubD’Aigüesverds Golf Club

Aigüesverds Golf Club is the 2nd oldest club in the region and offers a nice parkland layout in the beautiful countryside just outside of Reus. Water comes into play on some of the holes, most notably on the 3rd which is a copy of the famous 17th at Sawgrass with an island green. Although not quite as much water lies between the tee and green a par on this hole is a really good score!

The course is easy to walk and greens are usually very receptive so most players will have a chance to play well at this course. In addition to the 18-hole course, Aigüeverds also has a small Pitch & Putt with 4 holes ranging between 60-80 meters in length. Perfect for those who want to practice their short game.

Off all the courses in the Costa Daurada region Aiguesverds makes the perfect opening warm-up round for any Costa Daurada Golf Holidaymaker just arrived in the area, not the most challenging but very enjoyable.
