South West Ireland & Dublin
Located at Carton House, just 30 minutes drive west of Dublin’s city centre, is one of Ireland’s greatest estates, comprising of a superbly preserved historic mansion house surrounded by over 1,100 acres of mature parkland.
Today, Carton House offers golfers two magnificent golf courses – The O’Meara, a stunning parkland course and The Montgomerie, a unique and spectacular “inland links” style course.

Voted in the top 100 Irish Golf Courses 2006 by Golf Digest, this Cork Golf Club, designed by world famous Ryder Cup Star Christy O’Connor Jnr, is one of the top Cork Golf Courses and arguably one of the finest in Ireland.

Fota Island Golf Club is located a few minutes drive from Cork City with it’s international airport and passenger ferry terminal. It lies in the heart of a 780 acre estate which is included in, “The Inventory of Outstanding Landscapes in Ireland”.
The splendid woodlands are woven into three challenging championship courses which is very much in the traditional mode, featuring strategically placed bunkers and undulating putting surfaces. The Deerpark, with its receptive greens and strategic bunkering, impresses even the most experienced professionals. Indeed this is the course that hosted the Irish Open in 2001 and 2002. The Belvelly, a Par 72 course stretching over 7121 yards from the championship tees, includes the new nine-hole layout also developed by Jeff Howes.
The Barryscourt, a Par 73 course, also incorporates the new nine-hole layout.

Knightsbook Golf Club

Old Head, par 72, comprises five Par 5s, five Par 3s and eight Par 4s – stretching to over 7,200 yards from the tips, with a minimum of six tees per hole. With the ever-changing sea breezes, the course provides a stern test to the touring pro and the high handicapper alike.
The Southwest of Ireland is particularly blessed with an abundance of wonderful courses and the natural Lakeside courses at Killarney Golf and Fishing Club are widely considered the jewels of the region and very deserving of their title – “The Nearest Golf Club to Heaven!” Nestled amongst the splendor of the famous lakes of Killarney and with the spectacular backdrop of the MacGillycuddy Reeks, Ireland’s highest mountain range, lies three unique Championship Courses to challenge you.
Mahony’s Point, the shortest of our three courses at 6,800 yards is a lakeside course with spectacular views including the famous, breathtaking 18th described by Gene Sarazen as “one of the most memorable holes in the world”.
The Lackabane, which opened for play in 1999 is a Parkland course providing an excellent golfing challenge with enough water hazards that add both beauty and danger in equal measure. The Killeen, the jewel in the crown, re-opened in 2006 offering both spectacular lakeside scenery and also challenging golf to long hitters with water features on nearly every hole and fast greens. Nick Faldo, on winning the first of his two successive Irish Opens in 1991, was one of only three players to finish under par. That was before the changes in 2006, which will provide an even tougher challenge.
Beaufort Golf Resort, the hidden gem of the Southwest nestled at the base of Ireland’s highest mountain, Carrauntoohil, part of the world famous MacGillycuddy’s Reeks. Set amongst 200 year old trees, 15th century castle ruins, two lakes and rolling meadows, Beaufort Golf Course has been newly redeveloped by course designers McKenzie and Ebert to the highest standards.
Beaufort Golf Course Manager Tim Thompson has been at Churchtown Estate since the golf course was built in 1993-1994. It first opened for play in 1995 as a par 71, 18 hole golf course.
Designed and built by Arnold Palmer, this stunning setting represents a true paradise for those willing to challenge what is widely acclaimed as one of the finest links courses in the world. Palmer chooses it to be his first and, arguably, his finest golf course in Europe.

Situated overlooking the magistic Ballinskelligs Bay and set among natural magalithic stonework and indigenous bog deal, there can be few more visually stunning locations for a golf couse than Skellig Bay in Waterville. North West Ireland
Ballyliffin is a premier golf complex in the North West with two championship links courses and fabulous clubhouse facilities. Established in 1894 and designed by the legendary Harry Vardon, Bundoran Golf course is located in Donegal with breathtaking views of the North West Atlantic coastline. Donegal Golf Club
This outstanding course offers a genuine challenge to the accomplished golfer and is an all round “true” test of golf. One of the longest courses in Europe, it is ideally suited to big hitters of the ball. Don’t let the lenght of the course intimidate you, the forward green tees allow an equally enjoyable game at a more managable 5893m. The reputation of the club, designed by the legendary course architect Eddie Hackett, has been further enhanced by the new designs of Pat Ruddy. The clubs spacious clubhouse offers many facilities to gofers before and after their round. Visitors lockers, shower facilities and towels are available to help refresh you after you have tamed the course. Over the last number of years a comprehensive array of practice facilities have been developed, we now boast one of the best facilities in the North West. Continually featured in Golf World’s Top 100 courses in Ireland and Great Britain, this is a real challenge not to be missed.

Narin & Portnoo Golf Club is situated in a beautiful seaside resort in Southwest Donegal 8 miles from Glenties. It is considered one of the finest natural and scenic, 18-hole links courses in Ireland, with sweeping views of Gweebara Bay. Opened in 1930, it is engagingly old fashioned with a meandering route over and around the dunes. Golf has been played at Rosapenna since 1891 and the Old course, one of the oldest in the country, was designed by Old Tom Morris of St Andrews and later completed by the input of James Braid and Harry Vardon. A full century later the second course, the Sandy Hill Links was developed by owner Frank Casey and designed by Irish architect Pat Ruddy. All the hallmarks of Ruddy’s designs are evident here; spectacular elevated tees and large greens. County Sligo Golf Club at Rosses Point
Situated at Rosses point, 8km from Sligo, Co Sligo Golf Club is one of the oldest and best known championship links in Ireland. Established in 1894 the present course was designed by Harry Colt in the 1920’s and is widely recognised as one of his finest courses. Home to the annual West of Ireland Amateur Championship at Easter, the exceptional 18-hole championship course and the 9-hole Bomore course present an exciting challenge for all golfers and are open all year round. Enniscrone Golf Club
Enniscrone is one of Ireland’s finest links golf courses set in scenic splendour in Killala Bay. This championship venue provides golfers with the ultimate experience – dramatic dune lands, an inspired design concept, superb greens and breathtaking views. Originally designed by Eddie Hackett – Enniscrone reputation as a top class venue has been embellished with the addition of 6 new holes threading a path through the mountainous dunes. The new holes, expertly designed by Donald Steele, add an exciting dimension to the 27-hole layout. Adoption of the relinquished 6 holes together with the development of 3 new holes on adjoining land has provided the club with a further quality 9-hole course.

Established in 1891 and is one of the founder members of the golfing union of Ireland, the oldest golfing union in the world. Offers golfers the opportunity to play on an original golf links design. Unspoiled, uncrowded, natural links land surrounded by the spectacular Knockalla Mountains and white sandy beaches on the shores of Lough Swilly, visitors are treated to a golfing experience that will flood their senses and bring them back for more.
