Carton House Golf Club

Located at Carton House, just 30 minutes drive west of Dublin’s city centre, is one of Ireland’s greatest estates, comprising of a superbly preserved historic mansion house surrounded by over 1,100 acres of mature parkland.
Today, Carton House offers golfers two magnificent golf courses – The O’Meara, a stunning parkland course and The Montgomerie, a unique and spectacular “inland links” style course.

Lee Valley Golf Club

Voted in the top 100 Irish Golf Courses 2006 by Golf Digest, this Cork Golf Club, designed by world famous Ryder Cup Star Christy O’Connor Jnr, is one of the top Cork Golf Courses and arguably one of the finest in Ireland.

18 Hole Championship Course,  Practice Putting Green, Full clubhouse facilities, bar, restaurant, changing rooms, professional shop, large outdoor patio area.

Fota Island

Fota Island Golf Club is located a few minutes drive from Cork City with it’s international airport and passenger ferry terminal. It lies in the heart of a 780 acre estate which is included in, “The Inventory of Outstanding Landscapes in Ireland”.

The splendid woodlands are woven into three challenging championship courses which is very much in the traditional mode, featuring strategically placed bunkers and undulating putting surfaces. The Deerpark, with its receptive greens and strategic bunkering, impresses even the most experienced professionals. Indeed this is the course that hosted the Irish Open in 2001 and 2002. The Belvelly, a Par 72 course stretching over 7121 yards from the championship tees, includes the new nine-hole layout also developed by Jeff Howes. 
The Barryscourt, a Par 73 course, also incorporates the new nine-hole layout.

With 7362 yards to be negotiated, a great opportunity to produce a good score beckons on this course which is characterised by gently undulating greens – your putting game will be examined throughout your round!  No matter which course you choose, one thing is for certain, at Fota you’ll always be guaranteed true championship golf in true championship style.

Knightsbook Golf Club

Old Head of Kinsale

Unrivalled in terms of the magnificent beauty and setting of the site located in the southwest of Ireland, Old Head Golf Links continues to take the golfing world by storm. Old Head, par 72, comprises five Par 5s, five Par 3s and eight Par 4s – stretching to over 7,200 yards from the tips, with a minimum of six tees per hole. Nine holes play along the cliff tops, and all eighteen holes provide stunning ocean views. With the ever-changing sea breezes, the course provides a stern test to the touring pro and the high handicapper alike.

Killarney Golf Club

The Southwest of Ireland is particularly blessed with an abundance of wonderful courses and the natural Lakeside courses at Killarney Golf and Fishing Club are widely considered the jewels of the region and very deserving of their title - ”The Nearest Golf Club to Heaven!” Nestled amongst the splendor of the famous lakes of Killarney and with the spectacular backdrop of the MacGillycuddy Reeks, Ireland’s highest mountain range, lies three unique Championship Courses to challenge you.

The courses:
Mahony’s Point, the shortest of our three courses at 6,800 yards is a lakeside course with spectacular views including the famous, breathtaking 18th described by Gene Sarazen as “one of the most memorable holes in the world”.
The Lackabane, which opened for play in 1999 is a Parkland course providing an excellent golfing challenge with enough water hazards that add both beauty and danger in equal measure. The Killeen, the jewel in the crown, re-opened in 2006 offering both spectacular lakeside scenery and also challenging golf to long hitters with water features on nearly every hole and fast greens. Nick Faldo, on winning the first of his two successive Irish Opens in 1991, was one of only three players to finish under par. That was before the changes in 2006, which will provide an even tougher challenge.

Beaufort Golf Club

Beaufort Golf Resort, the hidden gem of the Southwest nestled at the base of Ireland’s highest mountain, Carrauntoohil, part of the world famous MacGillycuddy’s Reeks. Set amongst 200 year old trees, 15th century castle ruins, two lakes and rolling meadows, Beaufort Golf Course has been newly redeveloped by course designers McKenzie and Ebert to the highest standards.

Beaufort Golf Course Manager Tim Thompson has been at Churchtown Estate since the golf course was built in 1993-1994. It first opened for play in 1995 as a par 71, 18 hole golf course.

Tralee Golf Club

Designed and built by Arnold Palmer, this stunning setting represents a true paradise for those willing to challenge what is widely acclaimed as one of the finest links courses in the world. Palmer chooses it to be his first and, arguably, his finest golf course in Europe.

Ballybunion

Dooks Golf Club

Waterville Golf Club

Links land is a geological rarity. Less than one percent of all the courses in Ireland and the British Isles are championship links. Waterville is one of these. It is no wonder that the world’s best players test their mettle here.

Skellig Bay Golf Club

Situated overlooking the magistic Ballinskelligs Bay and set among natural magalithic stonework and indigenous bog deal, there can be few more visually stunning locations for a golf couse than Skellig Bay in Waterville. The course opened 18 holes for play in Spring 2006 and has already been rated in Irelands “Top 50”.
