The Costa Dorada Golf Club was founded in 1983 and designed by J. Gancedo. The course blends in beautifully with the surrounding natural landscape, and has the blue sea of the Mediterranean as a backdrop. This famous course, one of the best in Catalonia is suitable for all levels of player and is excellent for those who want to practice a wide variety of strokes.

The Costa Dorada Golf course is set in pine trees and willows on softly undulating hills and green meadows with excellent greens and a variety of water hazards. It also boasts the second longest Par 5 hole in Spain. Combine all this with the beautifully restored catalan masia clubhouse, make some time to visit the clubs excellent restaurant (closed on a monday) it makes for an excellent day of golf.

Bonmont was founded in 1990 by the Swiss businessman, Henri Ferdinand Lavanchy. He commissioned the world-famous expert Robert Trent Jones Jr. to design a first-class golf course to take advantage of the Mediterranean setting of Bonmont. The heart of Bonmont is the magnificent 18-hole/par 72 golf course in truly wonderful surroundings. The links has numerous natural and artificial hazards, impressive gullies, six rock-cut lakes, bridges, woods, more than 90 bunkers, and spacious, perfectly manicured greens. It also has a grass practice range. The layout of the course tests players of all skill levels with the enigma of its lines and borders. It is a true challenge created by the talent of Robert Trent Jones Jr. for your enjoyment here in Bonmont.

Lumine Golf Club’s impressive facilities include two 18 hole and a nine hole golf course, two club houses and a golf school. The Par 71 North course of 6,317 metres and nine-hole Centre course of 2,609 metres, which opened in June 2008, were designed by two-time major winner Greg Norman, and have played host to Sergio Garcia’s Pro-Am tournament in two of the past three years, further testament to the developments rapid maturity and expansion. The North course is arguably the most technically challenging of Norman’s designs at Mediterranea, which requires a certain level of precision and strategy, while the Centre course has integrated archeological remains, historical towers and sea views that make it unique to the Spanish region. Designed by Green Project the Par 72, 6,378 meter South course was founded on environmentally sustainable concepts and includes an irrigation system that utilizes recycled water.

When Panoramica Golf & Country Club opened in 1995 it quickly got the nick-name “Little Valderrama” because of its high level of maintenance and visual resemblance to the famous course in the south of Spain.This was perhaps not the primary objective when Bernhard Langer designed the course, but his layout has over the years proven to be a very good test of golf. Set among old olive trees this beautiful course sweeps back and forth in gently rolling terrain, giving the player a great variety. The Ladies European Tour has played several tournaments here and it is often used by the Spanish Golf Federation for national competitions.In addition to a really good golf course, Panoramica offers what is possibly the best practice facilities in all of Europe. Here you will find a double-sided driving range measuring 300 x 120 m, several putting greens, pitching greens, chipping greens and practice bunkers. There is also a par-3 course with 3 holes measuring from 88-190 meters in length. With very large greens and 3 flags on each green this is a great short game area.

As you drive south from Barcelona this is the first of the golf courses you will come across in Costa Daurada. La Graiera opened in 1992 as a 9-hole course and was in 2006 extended to a full 18-hole course. It is set in quite undulating terrain with great views over the catalan countryside. It is also one of the longest courses in Spain measuring 6226 meters from the yellow tees. The course offers some spectacular golf holes including the unforgettable 18th which is a par-5 with a sharp dogleg tempting you to hit over a ravine.This course has in 2011 inaugurated a new clubhouse providing all the services a visiting golfer may require.

Aigüesverds Golf Club is the 2nd oldest club in the region and offers a nice parkland layout in the beautiful countryside just outside of Reus. Water comes into play on some of the holes, most notably on the 3rd which is a copy of the famous 17th at Sawgrass with an island green. A par on this hole is a really good score!

The course is easy to walk and greens are usually very receptive so most players will have a chance to play well at this course. In addition to the 18-hole course, Aigüeverds also has a small Pitch & Putt with 4 holes ranging between 60-80 meters in length. Perfect for those who want to practice their short game.
